Welcome to

That's The Tea!

"That's The Tea" in popular slang, means the latest gossip and news. For me, this will be not only a project but a journey.

With "That's The Tea," I want to create a space where I can bring together the different ideas and projects that have grown and are growing out of my travels and experiences.

Each project will reflect a unique part of my journey, shaped by the places I've been and the inspiration I've gathered along the way. This collection will be something that evolves organically, at my own pace, driven by my curiosity and the new discoveries that come with time. It's a work in progress, always expanding and adapting as I continue to explore and create.

I have decided to start this new beginning with my first creative project, which combines my love for books and unique graphics.

Picture this: Tokyo's bustling metro, a sea of commuters with their noses buried in books wrapped in paper and fabrics covers.

Inspired by this visual symphony during my solo journey in Japan, I was determined to bring a touch of that back home.Eager to purchase those book covers, I visited every shop I came across, but I couldn't find any that fit European standard book sizes.

So, I decided to create my own.

So, I bought my first sewing machine and have been learning how to cut, sew, and I have started experimenting different techniques, translating my ideas into real, tangible creations. This project is a reflection of that journey—bringing my concepts to life through trial, error, and discovery, as I explore and learn fabric and design.

Each cover is handcrafted from fabrics sourced from my mum's and my own collections, city shops, markets, deadstock materials and some friends' homes.

There are three standard sizes based on the height of the book and approximately on the number of pages.

Non-standard covers could be requested as well.I hope these covers bring warmth and a little bit of your personality into your reading experience.

Thanks for visiting,

and I hope you will love it <3
